There are two things I’m not looking forward to tonight: The Triplets bringing the puck up the ice in a close game and Terry Collins saying he’s still not sure if Noah Syndergaard will stay in the bigs when Dillon Gee is ready.
I guess maybe the Mets are trying to keep Syndergaard hungry (ask David Wright what happens what that kid gets hungry), but we all know he’s not going anywhere, and he doesn’t need idle threats to make him want to stay out of Vegas because he was ready to get the hell out of there a year ago.
Still, whether you think Thor is pitching for his big-league life Friday in Pittsburgh or not, it’s a big game as the Mets can put together another streak, especially with Harvey on the hill Saturday.
Just think, if Syndergaard can keep this up, three out of every five days we have deGrom, Thor and the Dark Knight on the hill. As a great man would say, Pretty, Pretty Good.
So let’s hope the Triplets don’t do too much damage tonight, but Thor does – the the Bucco bats.
Have a good night, and a safe weekend. A remember, if you are gonna drink don’t drive and if you are gonna drive, don’t drink.
Let’s Go Mets
