If you want to see Henrik Lundqvist and the Rangers tonight be ready to break the bank.
If you’re still looking for tickets to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals between the Rangers and Lightning, it’s going to cost you a pretty penny and then some to get into Madison Square Garden.
“Tonight’s Game 7 between the Rangers and Lightning is expected to be the highest-selling NHL game on StubHub of the playoffs so far,” said StubHub spokesperson Cameron Papp. “Based on last year’s strong playoff ticket demand for the Rangers and their dedicated fanbase, we anticipate more strong demand if they advance to the Stanley Cup Finals.”
As of 2:50 p.m., there were 1,390 tickets left on StubHub.com. The cheapest tickets available were in section 415, row 7. Two tickets in that row could be had for $ 477.81 apiece. One ambitious seller listed a ticket in section 223 at $ 20,000. The second-most expensive ticket available at that time was a VIP Rinkside West seat in section 5, row AA. Between one and three of those seats were available for $ 8,241.25 each.
According to Extension PR, the average ticket price sold on the site was $ 1,083.
