Don’t expect Eli Manning to be among the few lining up to see the new “Entourage” movie – not after the way it’s creator ripped him two weeks ago.
The Giants quarterback held his fire on Monday when asked about the shots he took from Doug Ellin, the series creator, back in late May. Ellin revealed he wrote a part for Manning in his movie after the quarterback reached out to him to an express an interest. But then he says he never heard from Manning again.
The part eventually went to Tom Brady, and Ellin went public with his disgust saying “I love the Giants so much, but if Russell Wilson was the quarterback of the Giants I would be a much happier person.”
“Whatever,” Mannning said, while declining to give his version of events. ” I don’t want to give it any more press than it already has. … It’s not bothering me. Whatever.”
Asked if he’ll watch the movie anyway, Manning said “I don’t think I’ll see it. I’ll pass.”
